UMCOR - Hurricane Relief

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is hard at work helping victims of the hurricanes to restore their lives and their communities.  With another hurricane season approaching, and billions of dollars of aid needed, please consider contributing to this cause.

There are many ways YOU can help in the United Methodist response to the hurricanes:

1) Contribute to UMCOR through Arcadia Church.  100% of your gift goes directly to hurricane relief.  Also consider donations to Salvation Army and the American Red Cross.  There is also a collection bottle at the back of the church for cash donations. 

2) Prepare Health Kits or Flood Buckets to send to UMCOR (Contact the church office for details about making these kits)

3) Join a team and go to Ocean Springs, Mississippi to help the Memphis Conference Disaster Response Teams.  Volunteer forms are available in the church office.  Teams will be leaving from the Paducah area weekly.
