Ministry of 31
This is a hands-on ministry which encourages members to be in ministry to
and with one another. It extends the ministries of the church by
getting more people involved.
Through the "Ministry of 31", participants covenant to be in
ministry one day per month for a year. You choose what you want to do
based on your gifts and abilities. It may be as simple as writing
notes of encouragement, or making telephone calls, or visiting homebound
members. You could help out in the church office, or do some
sprucing-up work around the church. If you would be interested in
being a part of the "Ministry of 31", contact the church office, or talk
to Kim Cooper or Brenda May, our Nurture coordinators.
If you
are not one of the 31 who volunteer, you can still participate.
We ask that you pray daily for the "Ministry of 31". You can also help
by calling the church office and suggesting ideas for ministry, names of
people you think should be visited, or tips on who needs help in the
community.
